There is hardly another holiday region that is so associated with clichés by germans than Mallorca. The numerous TV reports of Ballermann 6 or in general, only the word "Charladies' Island" deter anybody that has not been there yet. In strong contradiction to these masses that take each year the sun & alcohol package at a bargain price, there are the upstarts and celebs, that indulge with their villas and yachts their hobby of being "bigger, faster, wider, more expensive". Given that, a tinge of aspiration to a cosy island is rapidly flown away or one prefers to search for another place for holiday which image is more friendly.
But with prejudices we do not do any justice to Mallorca and refuse ourselves the chance to a wonderful holiday in an island that can't be more diversed and surprising. Have fun in my holiday pages about the island Mallorca; below you find the index of each of the sub-pages:
